Privacy & SMS Policy

What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone number, and service address
• Service details: yard size, dog count, gate access, safety notes, and visit preferences
• Billing information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers)
• Operational data: visit history, technician notes, timestamps, GPS/route data, service-verification photographs, gate-status records, and message logs for SMS delivery

How we use it

• Schedule and perform pet-waste removal visits
• Send service messages: day-before reminders, en-route notices, completion confirmations, and access or billing notices
• Document arrival, property access, completed service, unusual conditions, and safety concerns
• Process payments after completed visits
• Improve routing, safety, and customer support

We do not sell your personal information.

Service text messages

By providing your mobile number and agreeing to service SMS during signup or account updates, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Scoop & Secure related to your service, including:

• Appointment and day-before reminders
• Technician en-route / arrival window notices
• Visit complete and gate-secured confirmations
• Access issues, reschedule needs, and payment notices
• Route or weather updates affecting your visit

Message frequency varies with your cleanup schedule (typically a few texts per visit). Message and data rates may apply. Service SMS consent is used only for operational and account messages described here.

Opt out: Reply STOP to cancel service texts. Reply HELP for help. You may also email [email protected]. Opting out of texts may prevent time-sensitive service notices but does not cancel your service plan. Transactional notices required by law or to complete an active visit may still apply where permitted.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Promotional / marketing text messages

Consent to receive promotional or marketing text messages is optional and separate from service SMS. It is obtained only through a separate, unchecked opt-in (for example at checkout) and is not a condition of purchasing service.

Marketing texts are not buried in these Terms or in service-SMS consent. If you opt in, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts or HELP for help.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example payment processing, SMS delivery, maps, and hosting), under agreements that limit use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety and property.

Photos, GPS, and service records

Consistent with our Terms, we may use timestamps, GPS information, technician notes, gate-status records, and exterior photographs to document arrival, property access, completed service, unusual conditions, or safety concerns.

Service-verification photographs may include the yard, gate, waste bags, exterior structures, or other relevant outdoor areas. We will not intentionally photograph the inside of your home or use service photographs for advertising without separate permission.

If you opt into gate-secured photo proof, technicians may also send you a photo confirming the gate was secured after the visit.

Field apps may use device location to clock in, navigate routes, and order stops. Location and service records are used for operations, safety, customer service, insurance, and dispute-resolution — not for unrelated advertising.

You grant us permission to store these service-verification records for the purposes above.

Your choices

• Update or correct account details in your customer portal
• Opt out of service or marketing SMS as described in the sections above (STOP / HELP)
• Cancel recurring service online or by emailing [email protected] (see Terms for details)
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting us (subject to legal and operational recordkeeping needs)
